Services sector status

The Institute for Supply Management releases today its latest report on the services sector, which employs most Americans.

Economists expect the monthly index from the Institute for Supply Management to show slight growth in January after a minor contraction in December. Readings above 50 signal growth. The sector has remained resilient despite pressure from inflation.
