Work to affect traffic today at High, Madison streets

A road closure today will affect the right turn from High Street to Madison Street north.

Miller Pipeline will be working on upgrades for Ameren on High and Madison streets from 8 a.m.-noon. Southbound traffic will not be affected.

They will be using camera equipment to observe the sanitary sewer line from High Street to Commercial Way, proceeding down the east side of Madison Street.

The Department of Public Works urges motorists to take caution and find alternative routes if possible.
