Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hentges, Jefferson City, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary August 6 with a Mass and blessing at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a family celebration hosted by their children at the home of Bill and LeAnn Hoth. They will take a trip to Hermann in August.
Ray Hentges and Marilyn Hoffmeyer were married August 4, 1962, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Taos. Reverend C.B. Green officiated. They were attended by Melba (Hoffmeyer) Hentges, Kennesaw, Georgia; Norma (Hoffmeyer) Distler, deceased; Diane (Hoffmeyer) Scott, St. Louis; Betty (Hentges) Beck, Jefferson City; Larry Hentges, Jefferson City; Ted Distler, deceased; Bill Hentges, deceased; and Reverend Donald Antweiler, Jefferson City.
Mr. and Mrs. Hentges have five children: LeAnn (Hentges) Hoth and her husband Bill, Centertown; Chris Hentges and his wife Jennifer, Jefferson City; Susie (Hentges) Rockers and her husband Gerard, Centertown; Janie (Hentges) Wyrick and her husband Chris, Jefferson City; and Michael Hentges and his wife Jami, Columbia. They also have 17 grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, and are expecting two more great-grandchildren in the fall.
