A passenger with a teen driver in an accident in Osage County, Thursday evening, was treated for serious injuries.

A story with the headline, “Two injured in two-vehicle Osage County accident,” on page B2 of Saturday’s edition misstated that information.

Founders’ Day is Lincoln University’s annual celebration of its rich history. At the close of the Civil War, soldiers and officers of the 62nd and 65th United States Colored Infantries, stationed at Fort McIntosh, Texas, but composed primarily of Missourians, took steps to establish an educational institution in Jefferson City, Missouri, which they named Lincoln Institute. A story on page B1 of the Jan. 13 edition incorrectly stated its origins.
