Linn teen seriously injured in rollover crash

A juvenile from Linn was seriously injured Friday in a crash in Osage County.

A 17-year-old was driving a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck north on Missouri Route 89 nearly a half-mile north of U.S. 50. around 3:30 a.m. when the vehicle travelled off the right side of road, overturned and ejected the driver.

The individual was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to University Hospital by EMS for treatment of serious injuries.

• Two vehicles were totaled and another had minor damage Friday in a crash in Osage County.

Eric Jensen, 48, of Linn, was driving a 2004 Mazda B2300 pickup truck northbound to cross U.S. 50 at approximately 7:45 a.m. and pulled into the path of Amber Blair, 30, of Linn, driving a 2012 Mazda 3 sedan westbound.

The sedan struck the pickup truck and travelled off the right side of the road, striking a 2021 Dodge Ram pickup truck Ronnie Shoults, 49, of Linn, was driving southbound.

All three individuals were wearing seatbelts. Jensen was treated for moderate injuries at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital and Blair was treated for minor injuries at Capital Region Hospital.

• A woman from Linn sustained minor injuries Friday in a crash in Osage County.

Jennifer Dodson, 46, of Linn, was driving a 2007 Nissan Titan pickup truck eastbound on Missouri Route 100 about 900 feet west of Knabel Lane at approximately 1:30 p.m. when she swerved to avoid a deer and exited the right side of the road, striking a ditch.

Dodson was wearing a seatbelt and her vehicle was moderately damaged.

She was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital by Osage EMS.

• A Wentzville woman was moderately injured Friday in a crash in Callaway County.

Janet Stevenson-Yates, 66, of Wentzville, was driving a 2015 Toyota Camry sedan eastbound along Janice Drive in Kingdom City at approximately 8 p.m. when the vehicle travelled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch after attempting to make a U-turn.

Stevenson-Yates was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by ambulance to University Hospital.
